JSON Scheme: Layout Variables
This is the practical layout boilerplate for spacing and dimension tokens. Copy it exactly and run it as a variables set.

} Why this works
This keeps layout decisions tied to the same size scale as the rest of the system. Layout/Spacing/Small, Medium, and Large reference the Sizes/... scale, while the block-width tokens give you a consistent set of useful column and section dimensions.
Recommended usage
- Use
Layout/Spacing/*for padding, margin, and gap. - Use
Layout/Dimensions/*for section widths, container thresholds, and grid widths. - Keep the conversion to CSS or Figma variables consistent through the same path naming.
Copy this into Token Commander as a Variables payload and use it as the base layout layer for the rest of the design system.
It is the base layout boilerplate for spacing and block dimensions used as a shared layout token system.
